We noticed an interesting Joint Venture Announcement this week: Arm (www.arm.com) , Gemalto (www.gemalto.com) and Giesecke & Devrient (www.gi-de.com) have formed a joint venture to deliver next-generation security for services running on connected devices.

A good example of several complementary technology companies, each of which grew out of the national markets and skills of different European countries, pooling their resources, through a purpose-built legal vehicle, to tackle a specific business opportunity!
